Some people are naturally lucky to grow up with straight teeth, but many of us are less fortunate. While smile is the best accessory that a person can adore not many of us are confident in the appearance of our teeth. Braces are typically considered the best way to straighten teeth, but not everyone likes the metallic look of the traditional braces.

NATURAL METHODS TO STRAIGHTEN TEETH AT HOME

There are ways to straighten your teeth without getting braces. These natural home remedies will help you straighten your teeth and get a natural looking smile.

  1. GENTLE TONGUE PRESSURE:

Gently use the tongue to push the teeth in the proper direction when you are not speaking or eating. If you are patient enough it is possible to see positive results over time. The time to achieve this will depend on the current misalignment of your teeth.

  1. STOP SLEEPING ON YOUR STOMACH:

Sleeping on your stomach puts a lot of weight on face and causes a significant amount of inward pressure on teeth. This pressure is worsened if you put your arm or something fir, under your head while sleeping on your face. Even if you prefer to sleep on your stomach and find it comfortable try to sleep on your back or side to prevent the repositioning of teeth inwards.

  1. USE YOUR THUMB FINGER:

This is the easiest and the most effective method to straighten your teeth. After brushing your teeth properly and flossing, use your thumb finger and press your teeth inwards in all directions. Do this twice a day after brushing your teeth. You can observe considerable change in the alignment of your teeth as it will be pushed inwards.

  1. BURNED RICE HUSK:

This is the most traditional method to straighten teeth naturally. Take two tablespoon of burned rice husk and with the help of your index finger brush your teeth. Do this for three to five minutes and floss. This method not only straightens your teeth but also whitens your teeth naturally and helps you to get a natural glowing smile.
